DAILY NEWS FROM MAMLAKAT KALAHARI 20 August 2015
BATH HOUSE PLACED, KING PLEASED TO SEE IT ACROSS FROM PALACE
Construction of the Bath House was completed at a record pace. The structure now sits in the location where the Belly Dance Temple had been placed. Kingdom Architect Princess Livia will be working on renovations of the Temple to make it an even more delightful venue for entertainment and relaxation. Sir Rambo and Diana Geesink have been placed in charge of furnishing and outfitting the Bath House.
QUEEN VI VYPER RETURNS FROM LENGTHY JOURNEY TO VISIT THE HEIR
Queen Vi returned from her journey to visit the King's heir, Hassan II, at his school in Damascus. The Queen was proud that her son is doing well in his Creativity and Initiative courses, but had to correct him for some excessive behaviors. The Queen said the name of the person most like Hassan II in his youthful exuberance, but our discretion causes us to mention no names.
In a story totally unrelated to the above paragraph, King Hassan I listened intently to the Queen as she gave her example.
THE KING ANNOUNCES A COMPETITION TO "NAME THE TAVERN"

MEDIEVAL MURMURS
Princess Livia and Minister Magdy returned to the Kingdom, as, evidently, the Princess needed to practice her horseback riding skills. The Princess managed nobly, as you would expect, but her mount seemed a little wobbly. So more practice is recommended for the Princess and her trusty stallion.
Slave Abu continues to forget more and more, as the "Ashi Experiment" continues. Some passersby have noted, however, that the combination of good nutrition and enormous amounts of hard work in the Mine have made the slave an imposing physical specimen. The authorities should be aware of the growth in this slave's physical power, and consider whether he should be constantly chained. Another concern involves the "memory drugs" he is receiving, and the possible resistance he may offer to them because of his increasing physical strength.
Slave Ramon is gradually growing more used to his transition from man to Harem Slave girl. His work is satisfactory but he still struggles with his new gender. Kingdom residents are urged to encourage him by complimenting his new feminine looks, and how well he is learning to weave and churn butter.
Bond slave sylvie served the Kingdom well today when she was loaned to the Gardens of Abydos as a test subject. Goddess Franchesa and other Goddesses in Abydos agreed that she had done well. On her return, she cleaned the Palace, as she continues to work off her debt to the King.
