Princess Prith supervised Seren's punishment of slave Ramon for his failed escape attempt. As Seren reported to the Chronicles, "this boy has received 50 lashes and during the punishment his genital area has been removed" As might be expected, the mood in the punishment area was somber. But in a moving display of caring, and medical skill, Seren assisted the slave to the clinic, gave him a sedative to ease his pain and help him sleep, and, along with slave tally, cleaned and bandaged the now castrated slave. The latest reports have him resting comfortably after his extreme punishment.
The King has relieved Diana Geesink of her position as Probationary Manager of the Inn/Tavern. Minister of Entertainment Afraa al Abid confirmed that Diana will not be a part of the Entertainment Ministry in any capacity.
The famous dancer Sonia Tairov, well known from her performances in the Kuwari International Hotel, has sought shelter in Kalahari. If historic research does not reveal any criminal acts in her past, she will perform her job in Kalahari soon.
Princess Livia has intensified the search for the "caped crusader" who harvested the rence plant that was growing near the landing area. If you know of his/her whereabouts, please contact Princess Livia immediately. If you ARE the person who took the plant, you should know that the Princess was last seen taking her bow and arrows to the archery range. You have been warned!
Kalahari Farm slave Gabriela proudly announced that the lovely white verr named by her "Gabriela" has given birth to her second daughter. The little girl verr shows the strong genes of her father and the beauty of her mother. May she bring many offspring to increase the beauty and wealth of the Farm.
