28 OCTOBER 2015 SCARY HALLOWEEN!!!
HALLOWEEN TRAIL AT AERO PINES PARK
Well, it happened, and it was a smashing success!
From the fabulous decorations and broad array of treats (and some tricks) prepared by the Delicious Syrup Manager Cindy, to the buzz of excitement among those who made the Halloween trip, through the tiny King's huge enthusiasm as he led us onto roller coasters, bumper cars, ferris wheels, and down garden paths, the enthusiasm built and built throughout the day.
But the culmination of the celebration was undoubtedly the party afterwards at the Delicious Syrup. The happiness of the day, merged with the wonderful food and drink, and enhanced by the dazzling decorations, turned the usual Tavern hilarity into something special and memorable.
A good crowd gathered at the Tavern to start their Halloween Journey. Visitor View Luminos seemed delighted, but a bit taken aback, when he saw the various costumes on display. Blue Blazer Bill Le Brave pretty well matched View's expectations, but Minister Afraa's Black Widow had him surprised. Yet the real costume stars, who rendered him speechless, were Cindy the Butcher (Cook) and Zombie Bride dara. His nervous glances at these two stunners told the story better than any words.
And, in a real surprise, Emir Hussein al Rachid, the Lion of the Barrens, the Sultan of Sand, the Connoisseur of Croissants, the Wizard of Women, dropped in to wish all of us a happy journey. He is seen here between Afraa and Cindy.
And here the rolypoly fellow admires the beautiful Trisia, while he munches on cookies:
With the Emir's blessings ringing in our ears, we made our way to Halloween Trails. The tiny King was, however, a large leader as he led his intrepid band on this adventure.
Loving thrills as he does, Mini-King led us to the roller coaster. At first, the thrills were evident
and even beautiful as the coaster cars whooshed through a snow flurry:
But a closer look at the Ferris wheel reveals the true bravery of our heroic King, as he rides with the dreaded Cindy the Cook (Butcher)
and the valiant Royal Guard Bill, who dared to ride with the truly frightening Zombie Bride dara!
The visit to the Halloween Trail was capped off with a fun tour, a ride on bumper cars, and the usually witty repartee that the King is renowned for saying. (ahahaha)
But the day was far from over as the happy group headed back to the Delicious Syrup for more fun and frolic. In the wild social that followed, the King showed his bravery again (perhaps learned by watching Bill Le Bravery? ahahaha) by dancing with Cindy the Cook (Butcher) AND Zombie Bride dara.
Onlookers trembled for his safety, but Mighty Tiny survived his brush with death and dismemberment!
Finally, exhausted by all the fun and excitement, most people said their good byes and went off to well deserved rest. Only three people remained: the Tiny King, beautiful Trisia, and Minister Afraa.
At first, the two girls thought they would share a quiet nightcap with the Mini-Monarch, as they sat at the table.
Perhaps it was the thrills of the day, their proximity to the handsome (but small) King, or MAYBE it was the mysterious green elixir that the King offered the two beauties. Suddenly, their vision blurred, they both slumped to the ground asleep, leaving the Monarch as the unconquered victor.
What happened next has passed into the realm of the mythic. Did the King feed carrot cake to Trisia, and then searched her mouth to make sure she digested it properly? Did he steal a kiss from the "cold" Afraa while she slept? Did the Royal Hands move as quickly as the agile mind that directed them?
We'll never know, will we? AHAHAHAHAHA
