STATE VISIT BY PRESIDENT TMARQUES HABANA, QUILOMBO DOS PALMARES
HIS SON, GOHAN DANITZ, PRIME MINISTER ACCOMPANIES THE LEADER
Readers of the Chronicles will remember the shipwrecked mariner who was washed up on the Kalahari shore recently. Of course, this gentleman received the customary Kalaharian hospitality, and was given a ship from our fleet to take him back to his homeland.
As we discovered, that poor bedraggled refugee was no other than President Tmarques Habana of Quilombo dos Palmares! So all Kalahari was abuzz with excitement when the news came that the President and his son, the Prime Minister, were to make their first foreign journey to Kalahari Kingdom.
And we were not disappointed. As Kalaharians are accustomed to the simple elegance of our King and Queen, we looked most favorably upon the President, whose impressive but simple outfit represented the values and integrity that are fast making Palmares the most noticeable and impressive of the younger nations of the world.
After the King personally greeted the visitors as they debarked from their ship, Minister al Abid led the distinguished duo through cheering crowds to the Belly Dance Temple, where one of our citizens who excels in the ancient art of the Belly Dance, bell, awaited to give a Presidential Performance.
As protocol dictates, the King hosted President Habana and Prime Minister Danitz, along with Tavern Manager Cindy, who prepared wonderful treats for the visitors to enjoy after their long journey.
And Bell thrilled the visitors with an outstanding performance! The President and the Prime Minister were overheard favorably complimenting her lovely face and shape, and the sinuous moves that separate Kalahari belly dancers from those of the rest of the world.
The Temple glowed with its special radiance
as bell stepped forward. As the haunting strains of the music filled all ears, the dancer smoothly moved her hips, her belly, her bottom, her breasts, her arms, her entire body so as to hypnotize all onlookers
Thunderous applause greeted her performance, and the King and President left their seats to shower her with praise.
Before the serious business of negotiations and diplomacy began, the King was able to show the President and the Prime Minister one of his pet projects: the Vineyard:
Finally, the cheering crowds and the entertainment were left behind, and negotiations began in the Palace Throne Room. Minister Afraa joined the King in welcoming the visitors to the Palace, as the Queen's mission to assist in the welfare of the Mine slaves ran late.

then joined the King. The Queen finally arrived after completing her mercy mission,
The Royal Couple and the Minister were delighted with the simple but heartfelt gifts presented by the visitors
The negotiations themselves were an outstanding success. Given the atmosphere of enthusiasm, and the good will of both rulers, how could they not be? Trade and cultural exchanges were agreed on, as well as a visit of the King and Queen to Micronação Quilombo dos Palmares.
Tentatively, Palmares' Minister of Defense and Security Fadagitana Blindside and Senator Sol, a fortune teller of the Gypsies, are scheduled to come to Kalahari for informal meetings at Tavern Night 5, Wednesday, 11 November at noon SLT. The King and Queen are scheduled to visit Micronação Quilombo dos Palmares on Sunday, 22 November.
With diplomatic discussions complete, the visitors were hosted by Minister Afraa al Abid at the Delicious Syrup Tavern, enjoying Cindy's wonderful refreshments:
and Minister Afraa promised to bring a Belly Dancing clinic to Palmares, as well as learn of the colorful folk dances of that new nation.
After one final visit to show the Mine, the visitors headed home happy with the mutual triumph their visit had engendered.
