CINDY AND JOHN ALONZO WEDDING!
After the riotous Bachelorette and Bachelor parties this past week, all of Kalahari wondered whether the actual wedding of Cindy and John Alonzo could possible match the riotous heights of those two parties.
The answer is simple: the wedding did NOT match those two gatherings.
It SURPASSED them!
The elegance of the traditional Muslim ceremony, the welcoming hospitality of the King, the beautiful bride, the handsome groom, the illustrious guests, the magnificent feast, the mesmerizing attractiveness of Kalahari, all came together to produce a memory for Cindy and John, and for all the guests, that will remain forever.
In the traditional ceremony, the bride is bathed and then painted with henna, before she meets the groom. Palace slave dara and Minister Afraa performed this rite for Cindy
and then helped her dress, so that the beautiful woman became a transcendent bride.
Just outside, the splendid groom could wait no longer, but greeted his luscious bride.
The happy couple and all the guests rushed to the ceremony, where the King summoned all to witness the wedding. After heartfelt words (about Paris), and sage advice from the Holy Quran, and acknowledgment of the wonderful dowry won through John's courage, the King pronounced the happy couple man and wife, to the wild applause of all assembled.
And after the Wedding Ceremony ended, the Wedding Feast began.
One of the illustrious guests who attended the ceremony was none other than the High Priestess of Valnor, Shura Sharpesworth, who brought the congratulations of that wondrous land to the happy couple.
She observed that the people of Kalahari know how to party, especially when nourished by the fabulous food and drink extravagances that Cindy produces.
And one of the most wonderful aspects of the benevolent reign of the King and Queen is their allowance, on important feasts, for all levels of Kalahari society to mingle and celebrate together.

and all can surround the loving couple with their love.
The happiness extended to all levels, as slaves Sani and Gabi showed
The High Priestess joined in to support her good friend in her happiest moment
and the highest of honor was granted to the Tavern Manager and the Royal Guard when the King and Queen shared their joy (and a few wicked dance moves as well!)
And knowing Cindy's love of animals, how could we not include the faithful Genesiss2, the best hound in all of the Arab world?
And so we close this account of the wedding, in a Kingdom whose women are renowned for their beauty
by ending where we began, with the love and pledged faith of two wonderful people: Cindy and John Alonzo.
