AFRAA AL ABID FINALLY WINS A CONTEST, FIRST IN PONY GIRL RACE!
KING REFUSES TO AWARD PRIZE BECAUSE HE WAS NOT AT TAVERN NIGHT!
Rumors of a Pony Race around the Kingdom, in which Afraa al Abid barely (and I do mean barely) defeated Cindy Alonzo seem to have been confirmed when the Minister was seen dancing a victory jig on one of the tables at the Delicious Syrup Tavern. The victory would be sweet revenge for Afraa, after her crushing defeat by Cindy in mud wrestling recently.
As the King did not attend Tavern Night, he refused to award Afraa a prize, saying to our reporter "I consulted only with myself, and I decided, with the assistance of my favorite and only consultants, (me, myself, and I), that we did not see this so-called contest, and will not award a prize. We have spoken"

PRESIDENT TMARQUES HABANA LEADS HIS HAPPY CITIZENS TO SAFETY!

As part of their triumphal March to Freedom, the happy citizens of Palmares arrived at the Kalahari Landing Dock in full regalia. Minister for External Relations Afraa al Abid welcomed our new neighbors with roses, and the blessings of the King, the Queen, and all of Kalahari. President Habana, Prime Minister gohan Danitz. Minister Fadagitana Blindside, Minister Sol, Senator Eve, Jorge Dover, and the multitude of Palmares' citizens made an attractive display.

The King and Queen made a surprise inspection of the Delicious Syrup Tavern to insure that all food was prepared, cooked, and served, according to the healthiest standards of our medieval times.
Of course, Cindy and her staff passed the inspection with flying colors, as these hungry and thirsty Kalaharians will attest.
Prince Animter and Minister Afraa look like they are hoping to join the "Black Ninja" Division of the Royal Guard.
The Prince's slave Abda is also a welcome addition to the Kingdom.
