CINDY BEGINS THARL TRAINING WITH GUARD APPRENTICE PATRIK FLOYD!
WILD SCENE AT MINE TRAINING AREA!
SOPHISTICATED MANAGER CINDY THRILLS CROWD WITH RIDING SKILL!
Enthusiastic residents of Kalahari gathered to watch the first training session by Tavern Manager Cindy, for the benefit of Royal Guard apprentice Patrik Floyd.
Most of us know Cindy as the sophisticated woman who does such an outstanding job of managing, and, especially cooking, at the Delicious Syrup!
But most of us also had no idea that she is an experienced Tharl rider of great skill. The session started slowly enough, with Cindy, clutching her taming stick, explaining some of the basics of Tharlarion ridership to Sir Patrik.
But then, Cindy mounted the wild beast and the action exploded! Suddenly the beast jumped several meters off the ground with Cindy sitting strongly in the saddle. The onlookers all took a step back, worried that the giant animal would throw its rider, and run amok into the crowd, possibly killing or injuring many spectators.
But we did not reckon with the skill of Cindy, who never came close to falling off her mount, and slowly brought the animal to heel: if not yet tamed, certainly controlled. We all cheered her abilities and look forward to future displays of her skill, and Patrik's first efforts to learn this difficult job as he begins his apprenticeship in the Royal Guard.

TRADE RUMORS OF PALMARES
Late last night, rumors of trade with Palmares swirled around the Ministry of External Relations. While such trade would be of large economic benefit to both nations, we were unable to confirm the rumors. As we all know, the products of our Farm and Mine are the true riches of the Kingdom. And they are on sale at our G&S cart at the Landing Area.

With rumors rampant around the Ministry of External Relations of trade with Palmares, might there be an added benefit to the Royal Visit? The King remained silent about this possibility, but this reporter feels she did see the flicker of a smile on the King's face when the topic was brought up. Or perhaps it was the prospect of a slave pony race between the House of Trrrol and the House of Adeel? And let's not forget the faithful dog calni, who may play a role! ahahaha
