KING HASSAN ANNOUNCES NEW APPRENTICE ROYAL GUARD!
PATRIK FLOYD SEEKS TO BE A PROTECTOR OF THE KINGDOM!
WILL JOIN JOHN ALONZO AND BILL LE BRAVE IN THE GUARD!
King Hassan Ibn Trrrol announced that Patrik Floyd is an apprentice Royal Guard, and will begin training as soon as possible.
The King has assigned him to the Tharlarion Corps. His first duty will be to become expert in handling those dangerous beasts, for use in battle to protect the Kingdom.
A helpful benefit is that Patrik will also be able to assist civilians to ride these animals so that Tharlarion races may be part of the entertainment for our citizens.
We also discovered another talent of Cindy Alonzo, the Manager of the Delicious Syrup: she is an experienced Tharl rider, and will start Patrik's education in that dangerous enterprise!
This news was greeted with congratulations from the King, Cindy, dara, and Afraa.
The King then switched gears from matters of war and military organization, to thoughts of peace and trade, good will, and sharing the gifts of Kalahari., by making an informal visit to our new neighbors in Quilombo dos Palmares. Accompanied by Minister Afraa, the King crossed the "Peace Bridge," and shared friendly greetings with Prime Minister gohan Danitz and Minister Fadagiana Blindside.
A friendly and enlightening conversation took place, where the King admired the weaving skills of the people of Palmares, and stimulating discussions took place about trade, cultural exchanges, military cooperation, spectacles and competitions, and recipes that the people of Palmares may have to give to Cindy, so she can prepare meals, in order that Afraa can eat them.
And later on a birthday celebration was held in Palmares, where President Habana, Minister Fadagiana, and Afraa toasted gohan. 30 is still young, isn't it, gohan?
THE MIGHTY MOUNTAIN
Though the path to Palmares can be easy: just walk by the Palace to our new "Wilderness Area", cross the Peace Bridge and you are there, there also exists a magnificent path through the Mighty Mountains that separate our two lands.
Of course one must be in excellent physical condition to reach the summit of الجبل هائل (Mighty Mountain), so naturally, slaves Abu and Gabi, and Minister Afraa (don't be fooled that she lurches around like a drunken sailor when she walks, she assures us she is in great physical shape!) attained the summit, and enjoyed the spectacular views available there. All Kalaharians are encouraged to make that climb, and enjoy the view!
