A TALE OF TWO SLAVES:

THE RADIANT AND PURE DARA IS BRANDED
JOINS THE TRRROL FAMILY DYNASTY, AND BECOMES PALACE SLAVE

THE DASTARDLY SLAVE GERONIMO PREACHES TREASON, AND IS MUTED

SLAVERY

In many civilizations since the beginning of time, men have controlled other men and women through the institution of slavery. It is a reality of human nature, that men, in war, or raiding, or by purchase, or kidnapping, place their yoke on others.

The FACE of slavery is the same in all events. Those who are slave masters use the men and women they control, for their own purposes. Sometimes they use them as workers, for instance on a farm, to save themselves from that heavy burden. At other time, they employ them in dangerous situations, such as warfare, or mining, where human life is cheap. Frequently, sexual pleasure is at the root of this domination where men mold and train women so that their only purpose in life is to please them. For many of those who condemn slavery, it is this usage that calls forth their condemnation.

But it is in the FACES of slavery that the institution finds its justification, and its diamond-edged beauty. For it is an indisputable truth, that some human beings find their destiny, their glory, and their salvation in the very institution of slavery that others might condemn. As in any other human endeavor, it is the person who makes the institution a success or a failure.

In the last two days, the Kingdom has seen two extremes in the behavior of its slaves. The FACE of BEAUTY is represented by slave dara, who found her destiny, her glory, and her salvation by submitting herself totally and without reservation to King Hassan Ibn Trrrol, and to the Trrrol Family dynasty.

The FACE of EVIL, on the other hand, was displayed by the dastardly slave geronimo, who, after receiving from Mamlakat Kalahari the hospitality and nurture greater than any slave deserves, started talking about slave rebellions, how easy it would be for slaves to overthrow the King: in short, he preached treason.

We tell the tale of these two slaves both for the edification of our readers, who will fall in love with the purity of dara's commitment, and then passionately hate the evil and treasonous geronimo. And in Kalahari Kingdom, as you will see, they both received their just rewards.

THE BRANDING OF SLAVE DARA

In preparation for the great event, Diana Geesink and dara's sister slave tasme prepared her to be as physically pure as her commitment. She bathed in the luxurious quarters of the Palace which will be her home for the rest of her life.

Diana and slave tasme then prepared the lovely but frightened dara by giving her words of encouragement, and warm caresses of affection.

Fortunately, there was little time to spend in fear and trembling as the King had summoned all to the branding block for the great event. Quickly dressing in a beautiful outfit, and escorted by her friends, dara moved to the designated area, and her destiny.

The King Summons all to the Branding

In a brief but thoughtful address, the King emphasized the rich tradition of slavery in the Trrrol  family dynasty, and the Family which slave dara now joined. He held up the famous 'T' which for ages has graced the flesh of all Trrol slaves.

The King himself, experienced in such matters, prepared the branding flames, knowing that precision in preparation and application would add grace, and relieve pain, for his beloved slave.

The Flame of Branding, and Love

As the King went through his preparation, slave dara waited in fearful anticipation, white faced, but serene, displaying to the admiring onlookers her inner strength.

The King questioned slave dara before all present that she should let all the onlookers know that she had chosen this path of her own free will. Her answer thrilled all who heard her stirring words: "This girl is proud to tell you all that she is honored to receive the Trrrol brand in her skin and will serve the kingdom with all her soul." The King, realizing that speed with precision was the best course, drew the branding iron from the flames, and with one quick thrust, changed slave dara's life forever.

And then the painful deed was done, and all were ready to celebrate!

Cindy, the lovely Manager of the Delicious Syrup Inn/Tavern had prepared another one of her delicious feasts for the celebration.

The King led the celebratory dancing, moving to the beat of a different drummer, but all did enjoy the spectacle. As he gazed heavenward, he seemed to be giving thanks to God for the gift of dara, but also for the splendor of his Kingdom and its people.

And so the King led his Merry Band, dancing into the night, in commemoration of yet another momentous event in the history of Kalahari. The Merry band: Tasme, Abu, reena, and Afraa.

THE MUTING  OF SLAVE GERONIMO

Kalahari residents realize that there is evil in the world, and nowhere was this more scandalously displayed than in the behavior of slave geronimo. Granted productive work, comfortable living quarters, plentiful and healthy food, this horrible slave did not show the deep gratitude such generosity deserves, but instead spoke treason.

Fortunately, the Royal Guard proved its worth, as it did in the murky crisis of the King's abdication. Royal Guard Bill Le Brave discovered this treasonous talk. Senior Royal Guard Kal Garnet joined Bill in reporting this to Guard Commander Princess Livia Ashi, who immediately took control of the situation.

Princess Livia issued the following proclamation, insuring full legality for all her actions:

"By order of the Minister of Justice you are charged with talks of treason and rebellion towards the Kingdom of Kalahari which is a CRIMINAL ACT. By doing so you will serve a total time of 30 minutes in the prison, suspended upside down against frame. Further punishment is at the discretion of the Minister of Justice, the King and the Guard.

Signed and stamped with the rose sigil"

So imagine the arrogance of the slave geronimo, who continued insulting the King, the Kingdom, and members of the Royal Guard. Even when serving his sentence, the flow of words from his overactive tongue filled the ears of all who heard his angry words, especially Commander Livia and Guard Kal.

Finally, Princess Livia, after repeated warnings, had had enough of this poisonous treason. Moving with the speed and precision of her brother when he branded slave dara (it must be a family trait!), Livia drew her mighty sword, yanked the offending tongue into view, and sliced it off with one quick stroke. Finally, the outburst of treason was silenced, and slave geronimo had learned a painful, and life-long lesson.

The tongueless slave geronimo, now silent forever
Slaves of the Kingdom, learn this lesson well. The face of slavery is YOUR face. You may choose acceptance and a life of happiness. Or you can choose the road of rebellion and treason. We pray that you will choose wisely.
