Kalahari has shocked the world!
The events of the last week in the Kingdom have offered us the spectacle of a deeply moved King Hassan Ibn Trrrol, after proclaiming to a joyful crowd at the Arena the appointment of Princess Livia Ashi to the post of Justice Minister, stunning the onlookers with the announcement that he was abdicating the Throne to face serious charges in Court. and that he was nominating his wife, Queen Vi Vyper, to rule in his absence!
This was immediately followed by a white-faced Princess Livia shouting at the King that he was in Contempt of Court for making the announcement. And all wondered who had brought this Court case against our beloved King, and what were the serious charges that he faced? And most Kalaharians did nothing but stand in stunned disbelief as the truth of the King's words began to sink into their consciousnesses.
The King created turmoil the like of which had never been seen before in the history of the Trrrol Family Dynasty. The Kingdom was confronted with the sight of Court members in loud public disagreement, pasty-faced officials in tears, and the Kingdom giving the lie to this most mistaken of all signs.
The Kingdom was perched on the edge of the abyss, and all was in shambles.

JUSTICE CENTER FILES REVEAL THAT KING HASSAN IBN TRRROL AND MINISTER AFRAA AL WERE BOTH JAILED IN THE NEW JUSTICE CENTER!!!
REPORTEDLY A HEARING WAS HELD AMIDST VIOLENT DISAGREEMENTS!!!
OR WAS IT?
Given the enormity of this story, the Kalahari Herald Chronicles utilized all its resources to produce an investigation unprecedented in scope, and yet mysteriously short of results. We still do not have answers to the following questions, but slowly, a picture is emerging that calls into question what we all believed during this unprecedented period.
Here are some of the questions our fearless scroll decided to investigate so as to enlighten our fellow citizens.
What caused the King to abdicate?
Were charges were brought against him?
What role did Princess Livia and Minister Afraa play in the case?
Why did Queen Vi invite the detested international assassin MRKINGBE to the Kingdom?
Was Princess Livia and the Royal Guard the only governmental unit standing between Kalahari and utter disaster?
Who were the numerous international visitors to the Kingdom meeting with Minister Afraa al Abid, and why were they here?
And perhaps most stunning of all, were all these events carefully orchestrated by the King and his most trusted advisors to PROTECT the Kingdom against a surprise attack by unidentified enemies by CONFUSING the Kingdom?
*THE REALITY THAT APPEARED: IS IT THE REALITY THAT WAS TRUE?

JUSTICE REMAINED OPEN, AND THE ROYAL GUARD WAS MOBILIZED
One fact which no one disputes was that Princess Livia mobilized the Royal Guard, as well as a motley crew of slaves and "Irregulars," to protect the Kingdom against the frightening threats about which we can now only speculate.
As a true warrior, the Princess commands her troops "from the front." She and her trusty steed "Nightshade" were everywhere, plugging holes in our defenses, bringing "Irregulars" to fill gaps, and most importantly, showing what leadership in a crisis means.
Beyond that truth, the mysteries swirl like the desert winds during the harmattan.
We could not establish the Queen's relationship with MRKINGBE as part of a plot, for instance. But the King and the Minister each did serve a sentence in the cells of the Justice Center.
The charges brought against the King are cloaked in mystery, but some sort of "Hearing" was held, and even the presence of Royal Guard Kal Garnet could not prevent curious Kalaharians from hearing screams and threats from within the Justice Center.
But the deepest darkest secret is reserved for Minister Afraa al Abid. Was she somehow involved in dastardly plots, caught in the crossfire between two Royal factions, or did the King give her a role so sensitive, so critical, that a large-scale Royal deception was the only explanation for events as they transpired? Let us lay the evidence before you, dear readers, and you decide for yourselves.
*THE SECRET ROLE OF MINISTER AFRAA AL ABID*
FOREIGN DIPLOMATS DESCEND UPON KALAHARI
DO WE HAVE OPERATIVES IN THE FIELD?
Through our contacts in the Ministry of External Affairs, and from the accounts of eyewitnesses, as well as sources within the King's Court, we have been able to gather an enormous amount of evidence to show that Minister Afraa al Abid met with both diplomats, members or Royal Families, and some mysterious characters whose roles in this drama we could not discover.
The Minister also employed a number of disguises while she was "suspended," seemingly being a disgraced official enjoying a low-key holiday. But we now have overwhelming proof that suggests that there was an ulterior motive to the roles played by ALL the major figures in this drama.
We know that the Minister met with numerous foreign officials and dignitaries, including Queen Haifa of Kuwar
Minister Jamila Robinson of the Kuwar Ministry of the Interior,
She also took counsel with Miss Sonia Tairov, Kalahari's "Entertainer," though many have suspected her talents lie in deeper and darker directions.
And though she thought she was safe from our prying eyes, the Chronicles was able to procure an exclusive illustration of her with an unnamed operative. One wonders if this was one of the famed Kalaharians In Stealth Squad (KISS), as prodigiously successful as they are unknown.
We also sought the one illustration which would have proved beyond doubt what we suspect, but were unable to find, so our final illustration must remain ambiguous, of the Emir of Kuwar, and of the role he might have played in these momentous events. (File Photos)

But we conclude our evidence with a bombshell! We have an illustration, that shows Minister Afraa al Abid, if we interpret the illustration correctly, "persuading" Kadin Daria Romanova, Emirah of Kuwar, and military dictator, to avoid any dangerous or violent paths.
So, when all is said and done, Minister Afraa al Abid was suspended.
