IN HONOR OF THE FIRST WEDDING ANNIVERSARY OF
KING HASSAN IBN TRRROL AND QUEEN DARA KHSAN IBN TRRROL
In the course of their first year of wedded bliss, Queen Dara has grown even more intelligent, beautiful, elegant, sophisticated and compassionate, though with a strong will.
King Hassan has errr grown a year older.
Together, they rule over the most prosperous and peaceful Kingdom in this part of the world. Over the next two weeks, the Chronicles will examine the Kingdom these enlightened monarchs guide, and the people who make up this marvelous land.

SLAVERY AND SLAVERS IN KALAHARI
Though King Hassan ibn Trrrol is not known as a harsh or cruel ruler, he does follow the customs of international society as we know them. As a result, slavery exists in Kalahari.
It is a mild form of slavery, and the slaves are treated kindly as slavery goes. The King makes sure all slaves have proper food, clothing (sometimes) and shelter, and medical care when they need it.
Yet the slave owners in Kalahari run the gamut from the mild to the extremely harsh.
Some slave holders brook no disagreement, and punish harshly
while others seem more open to the "charms" of their slaves.

and some bear watching, for various crimes. And no one is better than King Hassan at watching half naked women!

There are especially strong male owners in Kalahari, some of whom come from elsewhere

PALACE SLAVES IN KALAHARI
There is a subculture of slavery in Kalahari: namely the Palace Slaves who take care of the personal needs of the King and Queen, as well as the many duties required by the upkeep of the Palace.
Chief of all the valuable slaves, in fact, the most valuable man in Kalahari, is slave Abu, who in addition to his magnificent work on the Farm in the Mine, also makes sure that strawberries arrive on the Royal Table every morning for breakfast.

There are also four high quality slaves, whose efficiency is matched only by their beauty, and their ability to outrun the King errr I mean to answer every need that the King possesses:
