KING THANKS EHLINE FOR HER MINISTERSHIP!
MINISTER AFRAA AL ABID REAPPOINTED!
KING ANNOUNCES A ROYAL COURT COUNCIL!
King Hassan Showers Former Minister Ehline with Praise
Though he clearly would have preferred BATHING with her, King Hassan ibn Trrrol, upon his return from yet another mysterious journey, SHOWERED the controversial Minister of Cakes and Wine with praise when he thanked her for her service as Minister while Afraa al Abid was suspended from her duties.

Perhaps the King was referring to some of the "horse trading" the Minister of Cakes and Wine engaged in with piles of gold ingots that mysteriously appeared at her Palace.

Minister Ehline looking over the stock, and the horses also ahahaha
Ehline rode one of her stallions to the Ministry building, where she gave numerous orders to her temporary secretary Afraa al Abid.

Minister Ehline perhaps most importantly met Minister Magdy at the Minister Oracle, perhaps to consult about something interesting?

In other news, the King summoned suspended Afraa al Abid to a small, dark room, and whispered to her that he was reappointing her as Minister of Health, Minister Of External Relations, and Minister of Entertainment, with a 1% raise in salary! He added insult to injury by inserting into the contract that the Minister had to trim her nails once a week!
Afraa added a codicil to the contract, stating that she promised to trim her nails 1/100 of a milliliter each week (and went to her secret storeroom of daggers and started sharpening THEM! ahahaha.)

KING ANNOUNCES THE FORMATION OF A COURT COUNCIL

The Voice of the People!
Perhaps the rocky tenure of Minister Ehline brought this issue to the surface. Possibly, the King is trying to form another group where he might meet beautiful women. Long-time Palace observers believe that the Queen sees that the elderly King is beginning to lose his intellectual abilities, and is trying to form a group that can assist him.

The Queen counseling the elderly King
Whatever the reason, the King has announced a "rule of succession," as well as the formation of a Royal Court Council.
Rule of Succession
Briefly stated, when the King is in Kalahari, he makes the decisions.
When the King is away, the Queen makes the decisions.
When the King and the Queen are away, at least three of the five members of the Royal Court Council must agree on a decision for it to become law.
If there are not three members of the council available, or at least three in agreement, no decision may be made.
Royal Court Council
The Royal Court Council Membership will consist of five members. Minister Magdy and Minister Afraa al Abid will be two of the members by right of office.
The other three members will be elected from all who stand for the office.
All Kalahari residents, slave and free, are able to run for this office, and all residents will have ONE vote (hear that Ehline? ahahaha) for the candidate of their choice.
Call for Candidates
All interested in running for a place on the Council are urged to send a note card to that effect to King Hassan or Minister Afraa. The Call for Candidates will last for another week or so.
Election
In order to allow all who wish to vote in the election, we will have a one week period of voting. You will be able to vote for the candidate of your choice during that period. We will publish the list of candidates in Group Notices.
Exact details will be published as soon as they are available.
May the best Kalaharians win!
All glory to Kalahari!
