KALAHARI: SOPHISTICATED KINGDOM!
First Among All Lands in 1550!
Among all the Kingdoms of the known world, Kalahari must claim first place for the purity of its politics, its lure as a center for visitors from all over the world, the community it supports, the arts it celebrates, the beauty of its inhabitants, the outstanding herbal and medical care the King provides (known internationally as Hassancare), and its open and friendly diplomatic relations with all peaceful nations.
The last few days in the Kingdom have only emphasized the eminence of Kalahari and the ruling Trrrol clan, and its universal appeal.
Kingdom of the Arts
King Hassan ibn Trrrol has placed artistic creativity as a central focus of his reign. Dance and music are especially emphasized. We see the Kahya dara leading dancers Nilasso, Ehline and Anette to the lovely strains of music produced by Sayed Mad and Nada, as King Hassan and Minister Afraa observe.
But training of beginners by some of the most elegant dancers is also encouraged, as Nilasso and slave Marcus show.
And the recent storytelling contest drew contestants from all around the known world, with large crowds of literary experts in attendance.
Kingdom of Politics
The King does not shy away from taking the moral high ground, (in Kalahari at least), and has been known to interrogate shadowy international criminals like Sailmaster Thorgrim very closely and publicly.
Kingdom for Visitors
Kalahari lures many visitors to its many attractions: for instance, Sir bbjoe enjoyed himself at the Garden of 1001 Pleasures.

Perhaps the generosity of the Trrrol dynasty is best noted in the medical care that is offered not just to its citizens, but to slaves, visitors, even enemies! Known informally as Hassancare, the services of outstanding physicians using the best equipment. Generous citizens like Sheik Ibn Ben Yusuf, after meeting with Minister Afraa
has allowed his wife Dr. Mila to treat women patients in the Clinic.
Kingdom of Diplomacy
Kalahari enjoys excellent relations with all peaceful lands. Recently Ambassador Sabina, from the Sultan of Topkapi, visited Kalahari as a personal emissary of Sultan Suleyman. With typical Kalahari hospitality, slave Roxe made sure all the Ambassador's needs were taken care of, so that she could concentrate on her high level negotiations.
