THE LOST TREASURE OF

SULEIMAN THE MAGNIFICENT

Buried Treasure Rumored in Kalahari Waters

Suleiman the Magnificent ("Kanuni" - the Lawgiver)  is perhaps the greatest Muslim leader of our times, with an Empire stretching across half the known world'

Under his rule, the Ottoman fleet dominates the seas from the Mediterranean to the Red Sea and through the Persian Gulf.

To support his mastery, Suleiman’s ships carried huge treasures from one end of his Empire. For many years, rumors have circulated that a certain Royal Ship from Istanbul had been attacked and taken by a gang of notorious pirates. The only facts known are that the treasure ship never made port, and nothing was ever again heard of the treasure or its location. 

New reports are now circulating among those in the know in Kalahari, (Palace Slave Nada perhaps??) who have heard that large quantities of loot and treasured items from the ship have now been discovered, scattered around the sea bed of Kalahari, near the Mermaid Cove.

Among those items, there is a special bear rug that the one and only Princess of Kingdom of Istanbul treasured above all her possessions, as well as enormous quantities of gold coins known as sultani.

The Princess decreed that anyone who can find the bear rug, and the sultanis, and return it to her will be rewarded with 200 gold coins! (Lindens)

RULES AND INFORMATION FOR TREASURE HUNT

1. There will be around 11 treasure crates to be plundered.  Each crate has two items in it.   [Note : only one item per person, meaning you can't click the same crate twice so others have the chance to get items]

2. Each item is labeled with its worth of coins so at the end of the game please present your items and receive lindens for the items you found [ according to its label]

[Note : i renamed each item and put its worth like "carpet - worth 4 coins" something like that.  In this 4 coins equal to 4 lindens]

3.  Game will still going on even after the main item [bear rug has been discovered] so everyone will get a chance at least to get some loot and lindens

4. The bear rug os worth 200 lindens as prize.

5.  Please submit [rezz) the items that you've plundered at the final point. we will use the Tavern so Nada can check for its worth and give lindens accordingly.

6.  Nada will stay at the Tavern in case a player wishes to end the game early and trade for the lindens before the game ends.  Sometimes Nada might oocly fly to check for the on going game.

 7.  Appropriate clothes for diving or swimming is preferred ^ ^

KALAHARI JUSTICE IS SWIFT, MERCIFUL, AND INSTRUCTIVE!

King Hassan Ibn Trrrol, the Merciful, the Compassionate, the Lawgiver. the Bloodthirsty errr anyway, the King, used a slave's disobedience as a "teaching moment" for Kalahari newcomer Sayed Mad at the Tavern earlier today.

Mad's rebellious slave Marcus, a muscular troublemaker of uncertain origin, had DARED to kiss the feet of some of Kalahari's free women without permission, and had even made an inappropriate comment about one of the women, and his Master, Sayed Mad, consulted with the King about an appropriate punishment.

The King was shocked by this bold slave's behavior, but his merciful side took over, and he recommended the slave receive only 30 hard lashes, (after the usual "warming" that allowed the Sayed to get his arm into shape.)

The Sayed showed himself to be skilled with the whip, and soon even this defiant slave became a blubbering mass of animal, begging for an end to his punishment, and calling on all his tribal gods for relief, to no avail.

So three lessons were learned in the Kingdom famed for its knowledge and education. The first was learned by the foolish Marcus, who had better never be so forward again. The second was taken by Sayed Mad, who learned that swift, strict and merciful justice is the Kalahari way. And the final lesson was learned by all the Kalaharians in attendance: Lady Josie, Tavern Manager Roberta, slave Nada, Minister Afraa and Marika: that this is a Kingdom of Laws!
