REBELLION IN KALAHARI DISTURBS DIPLOMATIC INNER!!!
"KING HALIM"AND HIS BAND OF REBELS PLAN FOR FINAL BATTLE!
MILITARY OBSERVERS PREDICT ARMAGEDDON ON WEDNESDAY
BATTLE WILL DETERMINE THE FUTURE OF KALAHARI!!!
A last-ditch effort by King Hassan ibn Trrrol to bring a peaceful end to the Kingbe rebellion failed when an unnamed rebel went crazy at the dinner where the King welcomed Ambassador Akitsuki of the Wakiyo Empire under a pledge of truce.
Palace Slaves Nada and dara prepared a sumptuous feast to welcome the elegant Ambassador and the King invited the rebel leader Malaak the rebel negotiator Monsieur Vida, the shadowy MasterLo, and the rebel slave Roberta Honey to the feast, as a sign of his peaceful intentions.
The feast began well, with luxurious food and drink laid out for the guests, slaves Nada and dara supervising, slave Chippi dancing, and slave ILRINO acting as a human example of disobedience, with the lashes from his last punishment clearly displayed.
As a sign of respect, the King even placed the rebel negotiator Monsieur Vida at the same table with himself and Ambassador Akitsuki.
Another table of dignitaries included Minister Afraa al Abid, with Roberta Honey and the secretive MasterLo, while later, rebel leader Malaak joined the discussion. Slave ILRINO silently cleaned the tables.
Toward the end of the feast, the King called the lovely rebel leader Malaak into a private chamber to discuss ways to end the rebellion. Some progress may have been made but we will never know.
When the two negotiators came from the room, some aggressive behavior by an unnamed rebel had started an altercation, which erupted into a full-scale fight. When the King realized that certain rebels sought only blood, he determined that the Kingdom must use its military might to crush the rebellion.
And that is the sad state of affairs in Kalahari Kingdom as this reporter publuches this edition of the Chronicles.
