XADE'S HOUSEWARMING

| The Mysterious Xade |
The mysterious Xade showed great generosity by inviting all Kalaharians, as well as a distinguished cast of international guests, to the Housewarming for her lovely mansion. So it was quite an assemblege of royalty, the glitterati, swells of every kind, as well as thieves and pickpockets who knew the opportunities such a glamorous crowd could provide.

A unique note was added to the entertainment when Xade offered three gaming booths for her guests' entertainment. (Had she added a Parcheesi table she might have lured Afraa from dancing, and Nat from the wine barrels ahahaha.)

Ironically, the musical entertainment, including the group Bloody Pirates, was delayed in arriving due to pirate activity in Kalahari waters, so Sir Peace Furst and his faithful slave Willow jumped in to provide musical entertainment.

The crowd continued to grow as Sir Peace entertained.

Happily, the musical entertainment made it through the pirate danger, and all were summoned to the beginning of the music program by the Mistress of Ceremonies Jemima Larkspur.

And what an entertainment program followed! First up was DJ PURPLE Landar, whose energetic interplay with Jemima Larkspur stirred the crowd's excitement.

The main act followed and if possible, Bloody Piratescreated even more enthusiasm than all previous acts. It was difficult to tell whether the crowd enjoyed their music more,

or whether the theatrical accompaniment was more interesting, especially the use of a cannon. Kalahari veterans, knowing the duplicity of Darya Romanova, leader of Kuwar, paid special attention to the weapon of war that seemed to have been brought by some Kuwari refugees. If the cannon's aim had been shifted from the Xade Mansion to the nearby Royal Palace, action would surely have been taken. Fortunately, the cannon WAS just a prop, and the entertainment spotless.

The applause reached its height when the Guest of Honor, King Hassan ibn Trrrol took the stage, though strangely, as he discovered, WITHOUT his gifts for Xade. As Kalaharians know, the elderly King's memory is not what it once was, though his sexual drive remains strong, so the lack of gifts was put to a brief memory loss on the part of the aging King.

Then the natural Kalahari inclination to party when all else fails took over, and many couples took advantage.

The thrilling evening ended with a magnificent fireworks display, provided by Xade the Hostess with the Mostest!

LATE BREAKING KALAHARI NEWS!
HORRIBLE THEFT--JUSTICE AUTHORITIES INVESTIGATING!
The King's gifts for Xade were not misplaced: they seem to have been stolen!
The King asked Minister Afraa to investigate, and she discovered the empty bag in the Ancient Cave near Xade's Mansion---but the bag was empty, and there was no sign of the epensive gifts the King had intended for Xade!

The King has tasked Minister Afraa and the whole Justice Ministry to employ all their resources in the search for the criminal or criminals involved in this dastardly crime. Anyone who witnessed anything strange, or unusual, in regards to this bag is asked to come forward to give evidence.
All guests at the Housewarming will be investigated, and all their movements verified. The enraged King, angry about this blot on the Honor of Kalahari and the House of Trrrol, has pledged many months of the Ministerial salaries to the recovery of the jewels, and the swift and merciless prosecution of the criminal, or criminals involved.
Please come forward if you have any information to share! Tomorrow may be too late for those who hesitate!
