The elderly King Hassan displayed a bit of his old time magic as he created a magnificent ceremony in honor of his beloved and sadly departed Queen Vi.

Perhaps the King remembers that Queen Vi had been there to welcome him when was freed from quarantine after his battle with the plague.

Memories flooded back as the King remembered dining with Queen Vi, Minister Afraa, and Tavern Manager Cindy, waited on by Palace Slave (now Queen) Dara. How close those two elegant women were, and how lucky the King to marry them both!

With such memories as an impetus to his creative imagination, the King at first tantalized, then slowly revealed, and finally magnificently realized the vision of Queen Vi, and the status of slaves in the Male-ocracy that is Kalahari Kingdom.
After his stirring speech, and heavily symbolic gift, the generous King declared that the festivities would move to the Tavern, and that he actually would underwrite the cost of the event!

At first, the large crowd gathered was puzzled: What was that object that had suddenly appeared in the Queen Vi Plaza?
The King began with a heartfelt tribute to the late Queen Vi, by stating how they had first met, which both moved and shocked the assembled audience.
My dear residents: At first, I have to assure you that everything
that I will say today about the disappeared Queen Vi is also supported by my
current Queen, Queen Dara. There is no jealousy whatever...so all such gossip will be nonsense.

Behind me you see the monument that was built to my requirements by
a famous German artist.....and it took 6 months to make it!
So, there must be an important reason why I want to honour the old
Queen Vi. And you will see, it is an ode to servitude and slavely service. This
monument is a monument for the Queen, and for all good servants in our Kingdom.
First of all, I have to tell you how I got the crush on Queen Vi...a
long time ago, when I worked as Grand Vizier in the Emirate of Kuwar. There was
a very cruel ruler, and this man paid me for keeping the slaves under control
and punish them where necessary.
However....as it goes with cruel rulers.....This Emir decided that
I had to be castrated! (waits a moment to see the shock). (Afraa: My former husband, this
Emir Hussein al Rachid, who made me Queen of Kuwar, and then exiled me, is the man who ordered the castration!)

There were cheating soldiers and police, and they grabbed me and
put me on the block. [However, at that time I had a servant, who cooked for me, her name
was Vi. And this girl had seen the good side of me...although I was so much
under the influence of this cruel Emir.)
I will not tell you the bloody details. But the fact was that Vi was appointed to stop my wounds after
the castration. And.....she found a way......to steal my cut cock.......and save it
in a warm temperature in her mouth, until it was night and she was alone with
me, the uncocked Vizier.
So, in that night, she managed to sew the piece back at its
spot, and after 8 weeks of careful rest, I got the first signals that my
manhood was saved.
From that moment on, my view on slaves changed drastically: Vi used
her social skills to influence me.....and I revolted against the Emir.
Eventually, I was banned and had to flee. I then started this new land of
Kalahari!

So, my friends, Slave Vi saved me.....and she became the first
Queen of Kalahari.
And by this Monument and Plaza, I honour the importance of a gentle
and loyal servant, who loved her Master.
Now...it’s time to uncover the monument.
And then, as if by magic, the King slowly started to uncover the Dome over his surprise gift, and managed to hug various slaves as this unfolded. The King then revealed, both in the uncovering, and in his hugging actions, the type of service that Vi displayed, and that he expects from slaves, and perhaps free women as well!

When finally the Dome was totally uncovered, and the beautiful fountain displayed, the King had one final surprise. Within the beautiful fountain was a display stand, where the King could select a woman to serve as a decoration for any event, or just for his own pleasure, a fitting symbol for the Male-ocracy that the King proudly calls Kalahari. Slave Freya had the honor of being the first of many women who will thus be displayed.

After his stirring speech, and heavily symbolic gift, the generous King declared that the festivities would move to the Tavern, and that he actually would underwrite the cost of the event!
Stunned equally by the ceremony and the fact that the King would actually open the Royal Treasury. the final surprise of the ceremony emerged when the elegant former Palace Slave, and currently reigning Queen Dara appeared to add the final Royal Blessing to the ceremony.

Anyone who knows Kalaharians realizes they do not need a second invitation to free food and drink. The entire audience, as if with one mind, swiftly moved to the Tavern

And so a remarkable day ended: the memory of Queen Vi Vyper was celebrated, and the King imparted a moral lesson, especially to the women of Kalahari!
