SPECIAL STORYTELLING EVENT BY SLAVE ABLA
                         "MORGAN AND THE THREE FAIRIES"

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In a brilliant display of poetic artistry mixed with wise insight, slave Abla, prepared and guided by Minister Louise, held a Kalahari audience in her spell, as she shared with us the story of "Morgan and the Three Fairies." Her words were so marvelous, the Chronicles wishes to share them with you, along with some pictures that highlight what a magical event this was.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                             "MORGAN AND THE THREE FAIRIES"

Let me tell you a tale of the Fair Folk this day. Now I'm sure you all know of them already, but these magical beings have great powers. Sometimes, and it could be a very rare sometime, they might grant wishes to mortal men.

This group of three of the Fair Folk chose to go and grant a wish on a whim, but they first had to find someone of a kind heart worthy of such a gift. This was near the mountain of Cader Idris. On a cold winter night, Morgan ap Rhys sat alone by the hearth, smoking his pipe and enjoying a horn of hot mead. A happy and contented man, he was just beginning to drowse when there was a tap-tap-tapping at his door. He ambled over to the door and found three travelers, dusted with the winter's snow.

"Come in, come in. It's no night for being outside," said Morgan. All three men come and warmed their hands by the fire.

The tallest and thinnest of them, his hair a pale blonde drained of near all color, reached out his spindly fingers to Morgan. "Good sir, may we beg of you to spare just a little food for the road. We are poor men, but you would have our most sincere thanks."

"Oh silly me, silly me. I ought to have offered you a bite the minute I let you in! Just a moment, friends." He went to the still room and came back with some nice crisp brown loaves his wife had baked that morning, as well as some fresh goat's cheese that was now firm enough to share. "Eat and be merry! As long as my name is Morgan ap Rhys, no unfortunate will leave my door still lacking."

The men filled their sacks with a grin, then suddenly cast aside their cloaks, which vanished into thin air. He could now see that the men were fair of face, more so than any mortal man could boast of. The second one was burly and with a handsome chestnut beard, and he declared, "You are truly a kind man, Morgan ap Rhys, and we are grateful. Kindness will be rewarded with kindness. Name a single wish, anything under the sun, and it will be yours."

Morgan was happy in his life, wanting for little and not being burdened with an envy of his betters. "Hmmm.... Hmmm.... Oh! I know. I've always loved music, but I'm not very talented at it. Might I have a harp that will make up for my musical shortcomings?"

The third of the Fair Folk was a stout man, amiable in countenance and dark in complexion. He turned his back to Morgan and consulted with his companions a bit before turning around. In his hands was a beautifully carved lap harp. When Morgan took it, there was a sound like rushing wind and a bright light that dazzled his eyes. When his eyes opened again, his guests were gone.

Soon enough after, his wife who had been visiting their neighbors came home. With great excitement he filled her ears with the story of his night and started plucking out a jaunty tune. So merry was the music that his wife started dancing there and then, wildly around their cottage, knocking over tables and chairs, seemingly unable to contain herself.

Amazingly, during her storytelling, Ministers Louise and Afraa spontaneously began to dance themselves! Afterwards, they agreed that it was as if the harp of Morgan ap Rhys had drawn them to the dance.

His glee and excitement were such that he plucked faster and faster, and in the same way his wife danced more shamelessly though she was quickly exhausted. "Husband, please! I cannot keep on with this dancing. Give my feet a chance to rest." Morgan but laughed and kept playing, feverishly fast and his wife leapt around the room, her head bumping into the thatches of the roof. When he saw this, he finally stopped, but what he couldn't stop was his laughter. His wife was not much amused, and he found himself sleeping on the floor by the hearth that night.

As the days and weeks grew Morgan and his harp became well known in the area. he loved the magical harp for the ease with which he played, the enchanting music that sprang from it, and the effect it had on others. Just like with his wife, any who heard it was compelled to dance, from the wee babes in their cradles to the oldest crones.

He would wander around, breaking into song anywhere and everywhere. Farmers would leave their plows in the dirt and abandon their work. Rheumatic grannies would creak to their feet, though it hurt to move so. Shepherds left their flocks unattended to join the dance. Many suffered losses and some even injury. Unsurprisingly, Morgan became a very unpopular man.

But none of it seemed to hinder his glee, and pleas to only play his harp where no one else could hear fell on deaf ears. After a very long evening of his unasked for recitals he woke to find his harp missing. None of his neighbors claimed to know what became of his harp. His wife thought she remembered seeing three cloaked travelers when she milked the goats that morning.

Perhaps the Fair Folk felt they should show kindness now to the rest of the people of Cader Idris. Or perhaps his wife smashed the harp and used it in her cook-fire. Who is to say? To his lasting sorrow and everyone else's relief, Morgan never played his harp again.

At first the congregation sat in silence at the stunning climax to the tale of Morgan ap Rhys. Then all stood as one, and with wild applause, saluted the brilliant storytelling of the talented slave Abla.

Sadly, important matters of state delayed King Hassan from the event, and when he discovered the unfortunate medical examination undergone by Ambassador Akitsuki of the Wakiyo Empire, he was furious. So as a consolation, before he celebrated with the storytelling congregation, he invited the Ambassador to pick flowers in the Royal Garden. As the King and Ambassador plucked, the good slaves of Kalahari prepared delicious beverages and sweet treats for those who had attended the story telling.

The King's troubles did not end after his plucking with the Ambassador. When he returned to the gathering, he faced some insidious disobedience by Kalahari slaves, an unpleasant reminder of the fragility of command.

The first case was the open intransigence of slave Tanja, who simply refused the King's repeated commands to kneel. She was swiftly caged, so that she might reflect on her evil deeds, and repent of them.

No sooner had the King settled that slave down, the notoriously disobedient Emma Hedlund showed disrespect both to Minister Afraa, but especially insultingly, to the esteemed Empress Hatsuka of the Wakiyo Empire.

We have seen this behavior from slave Emma before, and one hopes the King will finally put her on the correct path.

That unpleasantness aside, (other than slave Viola's outburst of sexual passion ahahaha), the audience enjoyed the delightful cuisine of the Delicious Syrup Tavern, and told stories and partied the night away.

MEDIEVAL MURMURS

Having heard so many wonderful comments from other women in Kalahari, Minister Afraa decided to visit Tiny T for one of her famed sessions of massage pleasure.

Words can not describe the pleasure she felt, under the stimulating fingers of Tiny, though probably the height of pleasure was reached when the diminutive darling rubbed a specially blended fragrance on her feet. So delightful was this feeling that the Minister almost completely forgot some of her nightmares of the King trying to dance!

MEDIEVAL MURMURS

Kalahari has been graced with the presence of a new citizen: Tiny T. Though small in stature, Tiny has a large heart and supple hands which have been giving the females of Kalahari both relaxation, and pleasure.

Tiny has her office under the massage table in the Bath House, and all the women of Kalahari are encouraged to make her acquaintance. You can see her dedication to her work, and the relaxation it provided to Minister Louise Kingbe and Palace Slave dara in these exclusive Chronicles pictures.

And King Hassan himself supervised, and approved of, Tiny's revitalization of dara.

NEWS REPORTS

King Hassan has issued a Royal Charter to Palace Slave Nada to found a school in the hinterlands of Kalahari. Rumor has it that the school will serve as a nursery for the many children recently born in the Kingdom, as well as an institution for the betterment of slaves. Once again, the King shows why Kalahari leads the medieval world in pursuit of learning.

The thriving subject states of Kalahari--Palmares and Abydos--have mysteriously disappeared. Fearing that some terrible plague carried off the residents of these two lands, the King will assign Dr. Albert Ushimawa to explore the reasons for these twin disasters.

The well known foreign engineer tamtjabo Guardian is doing extensive building and landscaping on the far shores of the Kingdom. Mermaid Cove is the provisional name for this area, and it is hoped that it will provide Kalahari residents with opportunities for swimming, fishing and boating.

Discussions at the highest levels of Kalahari society suggest that a fishing tournament may be one of the ceremonial events highlighting the founding of this beautiful area. And anyplace where mermaids may be sighted is undoubtedly a place we will find King Hassan and his slave companions!

SLAVERY IN KALAHARI

Under the benevolent reign of King Hassan Ibn Trrrol, the Kingdom of Kalahari is a prosperous and peace-loving land. One of the pillars of this nation is the institution of slavery. Unlike slavery in many other places, servitude in Kalahari is an accepted, and even honored, practice. All slaves are treated well, receive excellent housing, and adequate food and shelter. Whippings are reserved for the most ignorant or disobedient of slaves and, as a result, most slaves accept their condition, and provide important services for the Kingdom. Some even flourish, under the administrative and erotic supervision in which the King excels.

Slaves Abu and Gabi are the foundation of all that is good on the Farm and the Mine, but they also show how a productive slave can be a happy slave.

In ways both small

and different

slaves add to the variety and richness of Kalahari life.

Sometimes, they serve in important personal ways

sometimes in private

sometimes in communal groups: in the Palace

or the Tavern.

Rarely, the highest designation, that of a Palace Slave who is worthy of wearing the ancient Trrrol "T brand," is granted to the most perfect slaves. Currently, only two slaves wear this treasured symbol: Palace Slaves dara and Nada.

Occasionally foreign visitors bring well-trained slaves to the Kingdom, where they are happily greeted.

But there is a darker side of slavery in Kalahari, and it is entirely the fault of disobedient slaves, who refuse to accept their appropriate situation, and are always complaining, or insulting their betters. In these cases, Kalahari justice is swift and fair, with whippings being the most customary form of correction. Such merciful correction often improves the slave's outlook on life, and he or she soon comes to accept the natural order.

Sometimes justice is administered in court, before the just and fair King:

but more frequently in public, at the punishment tree, with particularly disobedient slaves like Emma Hedlund, whipped by Sir Tariq, under the direction of the King himself, for her mouthy insults of Minister Afraa:

But special punishments can, and are, administered for special cases. like that of the notorious international slut, and former diplomat of Meyonia, Randy Quander:

In truth, Minister Afraa had been shocked when she learned the King had initiated a slave exchange with Meyonia. Kalahari sent a brilliant slave, the multi-talented dara to Meyonia, which was fine; however, in return, Meyonia dumped the notoriously disobedient Randy Quander, the well-known international slut and false diplomat, on the unsuspecting King. And of course, Quander's behavior merited severe discipline, which we hope she receives.

By his disciplinary actions and wisdom, therefore, the King thereby assures that the individual slave learns a good lesson, but keeps all slaves productive, for the greater prosperity of Kalahari.

PRINCESS PRITH RETURNS FROM THE FRONT WITH GREAT VICTORIES!
TRIUMPHANT GENERAL RETURNS TO KALAHARI WITH SLAVE BOOTY!
THE FALAMUS ISLAND KINGDOM FALLS TO A MARINE ASSAULT!
THEIR KING KILLED, QUEEN BROUGHT INTO PRITH'S HAREM!
PRINCE ALEX NOW TO BE MOULDED BY PRINCESS PRITH!

King Hassan Ibn Trrrol was at the Kalahari Landing to welcome back Princess Prith from yet another victorious campaign, though he was not clear on what he would see, as reports from the front had been sketchy.

Though most of Kalahari's victories have been won by our invincible army, the Falamus Island Kingdom presented challenges of a different nature. For centuries, Falamus had been safe from all invaders because of the stormy seas surrounding their island kingdom, and the strong navy they had constructed. But Princess Prith is a most flexible commander, and she devised a strategy that involved landing on several vulnerable and undefended, beaches. As a result, the Falamus forces were divided, and could not gather in strength at any one place. And once the Kalahari soldiers landed, the slaughter began.

Their King fought bravely at the head of his troops but made the mistake of answering the Princess' challenge to single combat. After he was slain in a brief but vicious fight, his soldiers broke and ran, hotly pursued by Kalahari's Finest. The cities fell quickly, and the Royal Family was soon brought to the Princess amidst the smoldering ruins of their Palace.

According to her tried and true formula, Prith brought the Queen and her daughters immediately into her Harem, while most of the sons were slain, with the exception of Prince Alex, the youngest, who offered the best prospect for "improvement" by the victorious Prith.

So the King was delighted when the flagship KS Romance, escorted by attack ships KS Bath House and KS Royal Bedroom sailed into Kalahari Harbor, victory pennants flapping in the breeze, cannons booming a salute, and Princess Prith visible on the bridge. An enthusiastic welcoming committee greeted the Princess as she dragged her royal captive on shore. Little Prince Alex was bewildered as he entered the Kingdom which had conquered his homeland.

Little alex would soon find out that, unlike Falamus, Kalahari is a monarchy governed by laws! He was taken to the Justice Center, where King Hassan took the Seat of Judgment.

The captive was brought to the majestic court, filled with an invited audience of Kalahari notables, and slaves

while the accused Prince, standing trial for the illegalities and criminal outrages of his family, was kept at the feet of his conqueror and new Mistress Prith.

In a clear and firm voice, Princess Prith laid out for the King the long list of diplomatic, financial, military, and sexual outrages committed by the Falamus Royals, and the elderly monarch, who has seen many disgraceful events in his long history as ruler, was clearly disturbed by what he had heard, and was visibly angry as he sentenced little alex to lifetime slavery under the "special care" of Princess Prith.

External Relations Minister Afraa al Abid, present with her lovely slaves amber the genie and Lady Rose, and lazy slave Bander, certified the King's judgment for distribution to the international community, almost all of whom were grateful that Kalahari had restored order and good government to Falamus Island.

All of Kalahari, indeed the entire international community, owes a debt of gratitude to the brilliant leadership of Princess Prith, and the invincible Kalahari Army and Navy. And thanks to the excellent supervision of amber and her sabres, and the seductive dancing of her protege, Prince/Princess alex is well begun on the journey of understanding what his/her life will be, from this day forward.

PRINCESS PRITH RETURNS FROM THE FRONT WITH GREAT VICTORIES!
TRIUMPHANT GENERAL RETURNS TO KALAHARI WITH SLAVE BOOTY!
ASSISTS MINISTER AFRAA IN MEDICAL CARE AND INTERROGATION OF
WELL-KNOWN INTERNATIONAL SLUT AND SUSPECTED SPY RANDY QUANDER!

Minister of Health Afraa al Abid received a middle-of the night summons and rushed to the Ministry. The message was sketchy, so when Afraa came to the Ministry, she was shocked, and yet somehow not surprised, at the sight that greeted her.

Randy Quander, the well know international symbol of corruption, sexual deviancy, and spying, lay on the floor, bleeding seriously from a large head wound. With the entire Kalahari medical corps at the front with our victorious armies, Afraa herself, with the assistance of slave cetan, amber the genie, and Dalia had to operate on Quander, who had lost a great deal of blood, and was obviously in her last moments.

Though the world would undoubtedly be a better place without Quander, the lofty standards of integrity and hospitality which has made Kalahari Kingdom so admired in all the world, took over, and the Kalahari team rushed into action.

After cleaning the wounds, and seeing the extent of the damage, Afraa had to ask Randy what had happened, in order to treat the patient with any hope of success. Evidently, Quander had been attempting to do something worthwhile with her life: she had become a lawyer, and had entered the Court in the bandit Emirate of Kuwar in order to defend some poor innocent who had made the mistake of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Though her morals and integrity are deficient, no one has ever questioned Quander's intelligence. She managed to convince the jury that her client was innocent, when another corrupt Kuwari bureaucrat intervened, Judge Mouna something or other, who tried to put Quander herself in prison with some trumped up sentence. When Quander legally disagreed, the contingent of RKAF (Royal Kuwari Armed Forces) soldiers in attendance fired some one hundred shots at Quander, and, incredibly, three bullets actually found their target!

Left for dead, Quander was saved by the efficient spy ring that Princess Prith operates in Kuwar, which spirited her away in secret, and brought her, near death, to Kalahari.

Such was the medical case presented to the Kalahari rescuers, with an added complication. Princess Nathalie discovered that all the herbs we generally use to sedate the patient for an operation had been sent to the front to treat our brave soldiers!

But Allah was with Quander this night, as the one person in all the world who knew what could be used as an anesthetic on Quander was Minister Afraa herself. Long ago in Kuwar, Quander had been involved in a notorious sexual scandal, and Kuwar's physicians had determined that her sex drive was the strongest they had ever measured (next to the Emir himself, of course! ahahaha), and that when she was in the grip of sexual stimulation, she felt nothing else. Minister Afraa was a witness to these events, and remembered this strange capability of Randy's.

Immediately, Afraa had slave cetan carry the wounded Quander to the clinic, and with the assistance of Dalia and amber the genie, and under the supervision of Princess Nathalie, as representative of the Royal House of Trrrol,

Quander was, therefore, sexually stimulated to the point that she could be operated on, and Minister Afraa was able to remove two of the bullets from Quander's skull. The third was in too dangerous a location, but since there is plenty of room inside Quander's head, the bullet remains there, and poses no threat to the slut Quander's health.

Princess Prith, though exhausted from her military triumphs, remained vigilant in defense of the Kingdom, and came to Quander's bedside as soon as she was able to communicate, in order to debrief her.

Under intensive questioning by the Princess, Quander shared many diplomatic secrets, which can not be revealed at the moment, due to considerations of state security. But there is little doubt that Kalahari's citizens can sleep more peacefully due to Prith's questioning, and the world's sexual morality has visibly improved now that the slut Quander is safely chained in an undisclosed location.

FORGIVENESS

An important part of the Eid, (and indeed of all humanity), is the ability to forgive each other for our mistakes and sins. After the prayer in the Arena, we gathered at the Tavern, and before the Feast, we had the opportunity, as a group, to hear the call for forgiveness, led by Minister Afraa.

Let us gather for a moment, before we celebrate the end of Ramadan, to ask for forgiveness as God encourages us to do.

Loving God, open our hearts today, you truly are present, right here, right now. We are all welcomed to your banquet, Muslims, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, all other religions, and even those who do not yet know you, to your Kingdom of Heaven which begins now, the present with us.
Help us to be open to your mystery, your truth and touch our minds, our souls as we learn to pray,

As we learn to connect with You,
As we learn to recognize our wrong-doings,
As we recognize the sins we think don’t matter,
As we learn to recognize the importance of reconciliation, of forgiveness in our hearts.
As we learn to forgive ourselves; knowing that we can be healed, cleansed, forgiven.

(Pause for a minute as we think of the wrongs we have done, and ask for the strength not to do them again.)

We thank God for making each one of us special. We thank God for the goodness that is in each one of us. We thank God that each one of us, and all that exists, is being carefully held in God’s hands.
And now, let us enjoy the wonderful feast, and dancing that generous people have prepared for us!

FEAST

A sumptuous feast of Kalahari delicacies was then provided for all, especially the poor, at the Tavern. Sweets were distributed to all children, and the honorary child, Minister Afraa. The celebration was happy, but also respectful, as those who took part in prayer reflected on what they had heard, on the goodness of God, and on their own desires to live better lives as did Dalia, Afraa, and Magdy.

The King was a gracious host, as he offered the wonderful delicacies prepared by Palace Slave Nada to such guests as Kal and Livia Garnet, amidst the lovely decorations she and Magdy constructed to make this prayer event so meaningful:

Toward the end of the meaningful day of deep reflection, the King authorized some quiet celebration of dance, as the day ended in a reverential fashion:
