EPIC DUEL IN KALAHARI!

KING HASSAN DEFEATS BIGBILL 2 - 1!!

BIGBILL PROMOTED TO LIEUTENANT!

KALAHARI MILITARY DAY!

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Military ceremonies combine discipline and display. Military duels include that, but also something far deeper, and more savage. The sight of men with deadly weapons competing with each other, swinging these weapons with evil intent, causes the blood of spectators to heat up, answering some of the most profound and primitive motivations human beings can have.

People will come from near and far to view such a spectacle, and Kalaharians are no exception.

And when the duel is between two noted warriors like the young buck Sir BigBill Huckleberry, and the ancient (and sometimes creaking) Lion of the Desert King Hassan ibn Trrrol, the bloodlust of the crowd will know no bounds.

Various formalities took place before the match, and then the fury of the match was unleashed. So many spectators were shocked at the speed and ferocity with which these two warriors engaged. Two very interested spectators who looked on with a mixture of fear and pride were
Queen Dara Khsan ibn Trrrol and Kahya Tara Applemoor.

They were joined by a large crowd of the Kalahari glitterati and common people.

But then the duel began. with the flashing blades barely visible to the crowd of onlookers, and the dust raised from the quick movements of the battlers, mixed in with the grunts and groans of sword play, thrusts and blocks, creating an amazing spectacle.

The King won the first round, BigBill the second. But the deciding round was won by the King, using the ancient Trrrol Dance Lunge. When Bill saw the King staggering like a drunken soldier, he hesitated for a moment, and that was all it took for the King to land the winning blow with his last blundering lurch.

The valiant warriors showed their respect and affection for each other after the contest, and the King immediately promoted BigBill to the rank of Lieutenant.

And of course, in Kalahari, when the victorious King volunteers to pay for the first round, the citizens of Kalahari duel to see who will be first to drink, to dance, to (ok never mind you know what comes next, right Tina? ahahha) Th party then moved to the Tavern of Trinity where every sort of entertainment was available.

And so it goes in Kalahari--bloodlust mixes with lust. competition and creativity merge, there is triumph and defeat, but a party at the end, always a party.

All glory to Kalahari
and peace and beauty as well!
