SURPRISE ARREST OF AFRAA AL ABID AND TINA WO
After yet another successful event, the Franco Carfield Slave Auction, coordinated by Minister of Entertainment Afraa al Abid, and sexy Auction Assistant Tina Wo, Kalahari seemed to be at the height of its moral influence and power.
And then it all changed in an instant, due to a drugged and fading old King, and the cunning criminal Ehline, whose mixed cocktail of questionable herbs and false praise has changed the Lion of the Desert to the Cowardly Lion.
Without warning, the sneaky Ehline approached Minister Afraa, claiming authority from the King due to what she called the Trrrol Cap of Authority, and placed the Minister of Justice under arrest!

The humiliations then began. Poor Tina and Afraa were forced to ride in sub-standard conditions to the Kalahari Prison in a common wagon.
Additional humiliations followed, as the vengeful Ehline forced poor Tina and Afraa into display cells in Kalahari Prison. But the Chronicles coverage will cause that miscalculation to backfire on Ehline when Kalaharians see the inhuman conditions in which Tina and Afraa were held.
Some worthy citizens did try to assist. Slave Willow decorated Minister Afraa's cell with some appropriate furniture and foodstuffs, while Lady Oksana volunteered to keep watch over Tina and Afraa.
Lady Xade herself took time off from her intensive preparations for the Halloween Party to visit the prisoner Afraa.
In a farcical attempt to hide the deprivations Tina and Afraa suffered, Ehline ordered a large covering to be placed over the cell, but cleverKalaharians saw through that!
Many Kalaharians did come to the Prison to see if what they had heard was true: the incorruptible Tina Wo and Afraa al Abid had been imprisoned,
and were shocked by the disturbing conditions they discovered.
THE "TRIAL" OF AFRAA AL ABID AND TINA WO
Finally, the evil Ehline was forced to hold a show trial, to legitimize her unfair charges, and try to save the King's reputation.
The King was summoned from Ka Kum Brothel to open the trial and state the made-up charges for the sham trial.
Astute Kalaharians will notice that no lawyer was permitted to the defendants.
When the defendants complained, Minister Afraa was gagged and Tina bound. The brave witness Sandi, lured into a life of crime by the King's negligence, courageously spoke up for the defendants, but her testimony was dismissed, as the truth had no place in this courtroom!
Finally, all trappins of fairness were dispensed with, the King forced Tina to admit to an innocent appointment as if it were a crime, and then the sentence was passed: two days in the Mine for Tina Wo, and 5 days in the Mine for Afraa al Abid. In addition, Afraa was given the job of supervising the Mine workers, namely the innicent Tina Wo, and the lazy slave Marcus.
THE SENTENCE IN THE MINE
Despite the clear injustice of their trial and sentencing, Tina Wo and Afraa decided that the Mine would receive their best efforts, as it is an integral part of the Kingdom's financial structure, under the incredible work of the best man in Kalahari Abu.Minister Afraa first surveyed the scene and cleverly devised ways to improve productivity in the Mine.
Meanwhile, the clever Ehline distracted the King yet again with another set of loose women dancing at Ka Kum Brothel.
Tina Wo and Afraa al Abid avoided all distractions and got right to the business at hand, even forcing the lazy slave Marcus actually to do some work!
Afraa discovered new ways of increasing the tharlarion oil production by using new liquids in an experimental breakthrough.
News of Tina's and Afraa's extraordinary work spread throughout the Kingdom, and attracted many visitors. Even evil Ehline noticed that Mine productivity had doubled and said as much IN FRONT OF WITNESSES!
Yhe King was delayed in visiting the source of all his wealth by the usual "business,"
but eventually the King arrived with Minister Nilasso.

Tina enjoyed the "bonus" awarded her by Afraa for completing her sentence: slave Marcus.
