Sheik Franco Carfield and Lady Tina Wo introduce Sonia Tairov for Auction

Rumors of pirate activity in Kalahari waters, with frightening tales of a Captain Minghus and Captain Hook, (a former physician with a scalpel), kept down the number of people who were able to attend this week's auction.

The lovely Sonia Tairov, however, managed to ignite a bidding war between the handsome, youthful, and vigorous Sir Peace Furst, and the elderly King Hassan, with some important bids from the beautiful Princess, and well known dice fixer, Nathalie.

Because of the threat of pirate abduction (We are looking at you, Captain Minghus and Captain Hook), Minister Afraa al Abid enlisted the aid of her partner Blackheart to provide extra security for the event, and all was peaceful.

Events like the auction are not just opportunities for rich and oversexed bidders to purchase human flesh to fulfill their desires, it is also an entertainment, a celebration encouraged by King Hassan and his friends in the Male-ocracy.

The King, however, was soon to learn that everything was not necessarily going in his favor. After several tense stare downs between King Hassan and Sir Peace, (and some grunts and groans from Sonia, assisted by Tina), Peace Furst won the noted sex maniac Sonia with a bid of L$1,300.

The King was inconsolable, and started leaping up and down in frustration at losing his chance to spend "quality time" with Sonia, an opportunity not many males, and females for that matter, have missed. ahahaha

Finally, order was restored, and Sir Peace led Sonia away to further delights with himself and the gorgeous and faithful Willow.

And poor King Hassan was left to console himself with visions of taxes revenues coming into the Royal Treasury, and ice cream delights with the faithful Abla.

The Slave Auction returned to Kalahari with a flourish as Slave Master Franco Carfield and Slave Trainer Tina Wo presented the beautiful Freya Deluca for sale.

Kalahari came out in great numbers to witness this signal event.

The combination of the sparkling crowd, the presence of rich bidders, and the seductive call of the beautiful but helpless Freya, caused a vigorous bidding competition, which came down to a face-off among three bidders: Princess Nathalie, Sir Peace Furst, and Albert Glas. After several tense stare downs, (and some grunts and groans from Freya, assisted by Tina), Albert Glas won the helpless slave with a bid of L$1,750.

The King then rose and addressed the crowd, in a celebratory mood, happy with the efficient auction managed by Sheik Franco and Lady Tina, and already counting the taxes he would gain from the sale of Freya.

The auction seemed to be finished, but the real drama was about to begin. Unknown to anyone, Albert, the long time Kalahari physician, had been consuming many of the herbs and medicines which had been his stock in trade. This potent concoction of mind-altering substances had finally taken its toll on poor Albert, to the extent that his brain had suffered a fatal shutdown.

The first hint of this tragic episode was evidenced when, after paying an enormous sum for a slave, Albert called over Freya, and freed her!

Confusion reigned, especially when Albert stripped off all his clothing, and stood on the stage as if he wanted to be sold to some bidders, though a close examination revealed that the bids would have been as small as... well, you get the picture.

Meanwhile, the slippery slave Freya fled toward the Palace, but was captured by the ever vigilant, if aging, King Hassan. What happened next is unclear. and in some dispute. Though many of us who worked preparing Freya for her auction found her to be a lovely and mild mannered girl, King Hassan claimed that she had kneed him "in the balls," and he punctuated this by saying, in a high and squeaky voice: "Freya the Ballbuster!"

By the time the Faithful Royal Nathalie had helped the King subdue Freya, Suhelia and Afraa arrived at the prison to assist in her imprisonment. The King demanded that Freya spend the night in a cell, fed on bread and water alone. The gracious Nathalie imposed upon the King to provide a luxury bed for the jailed girl, the King's better nature won out, and he provided one of the 1,000 Royal Beds he keeps in storage "just in case."

And so, we all thought, a dramatic day had ended, with Captain Minghus slinking away to his ship, under the watchful eye of Blackheart Tyger.

But the day held one more surprise!

LATE BREAKING NEWS!

Professor Mikael had invited his and Minister Nilasso's friend, a heavily pregnant Seyma Valentine, to observe the auction.

Nature, like Albert Glas, had other plans for this day. The radiant Seyma went into labor, and called for help. The ever generous Princess Nathalie and Minister Afraa answered her call, and rushed Seyma to her bed, to prepare for the birth.

After a difficult labor, a weary but exultant Seyma showed off her newborn son: Hasso Ali!

King Hassan, hearing the news, rushed joyfully to the bedside of Seyma to congratulate her on the birth of another taxpayer err i mean fine Kalahari boy.

And finally, one of the most dramatic days in recent Kalahari history ended with the miracle of a mother's labor, a newborn's cry, and the King happy!
