All observers agree that the setup for the wedding of Magdy and Sky was one of the most beautiful they had ever seen. The lovely layout of the location of the ceremony,

THE PREPARATION OF THE BRIDE
The friends of the bride gathered in the glistening new Bath House to bathe and oil her, and prepare her to meet her husband.

And all were stunned at the beautiful bride, and the stunning gown she wore.

Minister Magdy could not wait to escort his beautiful bride to the altar

and greet his best friend King Hassan who performed the wedding with his usual grace, hiding the fact that he was ill, and being present for such an important milestone.

WEDDING INTRODUCTION
King Hassan: “My dear fellow Kalaharians and honored guests, it is so good to see you all to be part of the wonderful event we celebrate today. In a dangerous world as we live in during these perilous times, we look for signs of rebirth, for a passionate heart that will allow all people to welcome and support each other, to accept and care for each other, to love each other.”
CEREMONY
Afraa: Today, our beloved Minister Magdy and his fiance Lady Sky model for us what such love must be to succeed. We join them, and we pledge our support to them as they face the world together.

King Hassan: “Magdy and Sky, you have come together in the Kalahari Community so that in the presence of that Community, your intention to enter into Marriage may be strengthened by all present with a sacred seal, and your love be enriched with our blessings upon you, so that you may have strength to be faithful to each other for ever and assume all the responsibilities of married life. And so, in the presence of the Kalahari Community, I ask you to state your intentions.”
MARRIAGE VOWS
Sky: "I vow to love, care and honor you, in good and bad times.
I commit myself to always try in every way to be worthy of your love.
I will always be honest, kind, patient and forgiving with you.
But most of all, I promise to be a true, loyal friend and I pledge myself to you as your dutiful and loving wife. Love you!"
Takes Magdy´s hands between hers, holding them and placing them in her heart, with a smile.
Magdy: "Sky , Since the first time I saw you , I felt like you are the one who I spent all my life looking for . You were amazing and wonderful. And every day I spend with you , you showed me how much life can be better . You saved my soul when i felt lost and had no aim . You are my Love , Life and Everything and I promise to be at your side in the good and bad times. I vow to love you as your husband, for ever and ever.This day is the best day of my life. Today I take you to be my wife and vow to help create for us an amazing life. Love you ."
King Hassan: "You have pledged your love and fidelity to each other so beautifully. I call on all here present to stretch their hands and hearts over the beloved couple as i say the words of blessing:"
“May the blessing of light be upon you,
Light on the outside,
Light on the inside.
With God's sunlight shining on you,
May your heart glow with warmth,
Like a blazing fire
that welcomes friends and strangers alike.
May the light of God shine from your eyes,
Like a candle in the window,
Welcoming the weary traveler,
To Kalahari, where All are welcome.”
Then King announces the bridal couple:

Minister Afraa: "AND NOW, THE KALAHARI DANCERS PERFORM THE "FLAME DANCE" SYMBOLIZING THE LIGHT, PASSION, AND WARMTH THE MARRIED COUPLE PLEDGE TO SHARE WITH ALL IN KALAHARI."

Minister Afraa: "AND NOW, THE KALAHARI DANCERS PERFORM THE "FLAME DANCE" SYMBOLIZING THE LIGHT, PASSION, AND WARMTH THE MARRIED COUPLE PLEDGE TO SHARE WITH ALL IN KALAHARI."
The Kalahari Royal Dancers then performed in their usual splendid fashion, guided by Dance Leader Willow:

under the watchful eyes of distinguished guests like Sultan Suleyman of Topkapi (with Harem Girls Mew, Myrella Cioc and Chaos), Sheikh Robijn, and of course the well-known Patroness of the Arts Queen Nathalie of Romania, the King's niece, who represented him well, especially when it came to time to consume the wedding cake!

Sidi Zomaster also was able to attend and kept a sharp eye on the proceedings.

The High Table was honored with the presence of the Bride and Groom, but also by Queen Nathalie of Romania and Sultan Suleyman of Topkapi, attended by Myrella Cioc and Chaos,
though clearly all eyes tended to focus on the happy couple.
As the fireworks of Larl Lane soared into the sky,
and the Kalahari Dancers exuberantly celebrated,
the assembled guests lost no time in partaking of the delicious food and drink, and the dancing, inspired by the Kalahari Royal Dancers, was intense,
while love surrounded the happy couple,

All is now quiet: the tent has been folded, the food distributed, the musicians have packed up their instruments, the dancers changed from their silks, the guests have found their way home.

But something lingers, a touch of beauty fills the air, the warm memories of two people whose love brought them together reminds us all that peace and beauty are our destiny, if only we have the courage to choose them.
