KALAHARI SLAVE HUNT BRILLIANCE!

ALL SLAVES CAUGHT BY THE FORCES OF JUSTICE!
CLEVER SLAVES FOUND OUT BY RELENTLESS HUNTERS!

Many of us have felt the thrill of anticipation before some major event. We eagerly check the date, we ask friends if they will share the experience with us. Our heart beats faster, our breath comes more quickly, all our senses are heightened.

And so it was when the powerful array of hunters arrived at Kalahari in order to hunt down the arrogant crop of slaves who were convinced they could not be captured. Let us first view the lineup of Hunters drawn from every reputable land (and also Meyonia, ahahaha).

Queen Dara Khsan ibn Trrrol herself came to open the Hunt, and to give support to the forces of Justice as represented by the valiant hunters.

Head Slaver Nada Syuhada summoned all the greatest hunters to the First Kalahari Slave Hunt, and they presented a magnificent picture of relentless and ruthless pursuit.

The generous Nada offered a bounty of $L200 to the Hunters for each slave they captured, so the normal ferocity of the Hunter was supplemented by the happy jingling of gold coins.

These imposing warriors sent shivers down the spines of the slaves, and even the observers in the stands. But we must give credit to the slaves: none fell to his/her knees blubbering, and begging for mercy.

Special mention must be made of Fatima, who was in Kalahari Prison, under the supervision of Prison Manager Stephanie Brown, awaiting trial for theft of gold from the Royal Mine. After Fatima protested her innocence, she was offered a choice: to join the Slave Hunt in lieu of facing trial. If she eluded capture, she would be freed from prison, and found innocent of all charges. If captured, she would be enslaved. Fatima accepted this offer, and thus stood nervously in the Arena, with a full week of practice behind her, and a sword held tensely in her right hand.

But there were other slaves who also faced the ordeal of the Hunt with admirable bravery, like the dear slave Roxe entered by her Mistress Afraa, the sexy Sonia Tairov, the "Lust Twins" Tina Wo and Dalia, and surprisingly, Ryan the Dreadful, who dared to challenge the hunters with his masculine power.

A large crowd of international observers also attended the Gala Event, drawn by the beauty of Kalahari, as well as the blood lust involved in the Hunt.

The Lost Jungle of the Maya sent two outstanding representatives in Panama Red, Chief Assistant to Lexia Moonstone, and Nowhereg1rl, who we remember from the Meeting of the Royals, who sat with friend of Kalahari viki Raynier.

Kalahari was well represented with Princess Nathalie, Tasha Weston, and Stephanie Brown, who joined Queen Dara in the Royal Viewing stand.

After all the glitter of the Royal Welcome, the settling of the rules, and the start of the Hunt, the actual contest was fast, violent, and did not end well for any of the slaves.

Sadly for many of her admirers in Kalahari, Fatima lost her bid for freedom, as she was captured by the relentless Minnie. A life of enslavement now stretches into the future for her. a sad end to the story of a much loved free citizen who made the mistake of stealing gold from the King.

After the apprehension of Fatima, the captures happened quickly. The Purple Bird of Prey Rosecynder brought down Ryan the Dreadful and Dalia, while the relentless Minnie added to her collection of Fatima by grabbing Tina Wo, who did last the longest of any of the slaves.

Randy Quander captured Sonia Tairov, though knowing the two of them I wonder who caught whom! And in what must be called perfect justice, the dear slave Roxe was caught by her former owner, (and future three-day renter), Sir Bill Le Brave.

But the Hunt was not yet over, as the Purple Bird of Prey Rosecynder made the mistake of challenging the Premier Huntress Tara to try to hunt HER. Well, the War Machine made quick work of Rose, who experienced herself the humiliation of capture she has imposed on so many others.

Needless to say, even after the satisfied observers and hunters went off to celebrate, and the slave prey retired to their quarters to nurse their bruises and bruised egos, Randy Quander found a quiet Bath House, where she enjoyed the pleasure of her fellow Meyonian, Dagmar Viermalneun!

 Garden Manager Nilasso announced that Lady Samaira will be her Chief Assistant in the Garden of 1001 Pleasures, with special duties including making sure Tina Wo and Dalia behave ahahahaha!

REPRESENTATIVES OF MANY LANDS MEET IN SANDS OF TIME!

The lovely and elegant Queen Dara Khsan ibn Trrrol led the Kalahari Kingdom delegation to a summit meeting of some of the leading lands in all the world. Accompanied by Minister Afraa al Abid, the Queen impressed the heads of state (sim) who attended, and also learned a great deal of value that will lead to further cooperation and growth among all the attendees.

Now, you may ask: "Such an important delegation--surely King Hassan ibn Trrrol must have led the Kalahari group to the beautiful Sands of Time, Majik AL Dinn, and its charming leader ATOSSA! Do not fear Kalaharians: Queen Dara was more than qualified to lead in an intelligent and mature fashion.

As to her husband, the rumor is that King Hassan missed the meeting of the Royals to make a detailed investigation of a new invention that might benefit Kalahari. Known as the "Shibari Frame," this device will undoubtedly aid the King in many of the scientific experiments he likes to conduct, especially those dealing with gravity and the human anatomy. The King will surely share his scientific findings with the citizens of Kalahari, with the aid of many naked  errr "experimental subjects."

THE MEETING OF THE ROYALS

A group of distinguished leaders, united in diversity, varied in excellence, desiring to share what they have, and to learn what they do not yet know, met in the magnificent land known as the Sands of Time, hosted by the marvelous ATOSSA, whose land includes not just a glorious Palace, but also the Majilis Ocean, and the ARABESQUE CAFE.

ATOSSA'S interests include the use of the Maya HUD, integrated systems of economy and monetary exchange, exchange programs, Mermaids and other valuable contributions.. She generously offered to host events such as Combat and Chariot Races at her large and impressive sim.

ATOSSA brought along her trusted adviser, Ixkeem, whose manly advice added to the impressive presentation.

The creative mastermind of the Lost Jungle of the Maya, long-time friend and ally of Kalahari Lexia Moonstone, had called for the meeting because her wide experience in traveling, and sharp eyes, helped her to see that there were some lands that shared common goals and activities, that might be helped by a union, an alliance of nations.

who joined with her to explain fully the interests of Maya Land, and the enormous array of benefits that an alliance with them would develop. Their varied interests include the renowned Maya HUD, trading, Mer activities, Hunts, Maya Ball, Pirates, and sharing travel and cultural events.

These Panthers, leaders of the Sha Mo`E Panther Tribe" and the "Sha`Zarene Farm" ( G&S farming) had Minister Afraa on her best behavior, fearful that she might be kidnapped by Panther Girls as she had once been by Pirates.

But both of the Zarene girls showed themselves to be serious Farmer-Merchants, as well as Warriors. They were interested in using the Maya HUD for combat, while they found the G&S meter very comfortable for their trading needs.

For its part the Kalahari representatives spoke of much mentioned above, and also mentioned the Kalahari Tavern, the Garden of 1001 Pleasures, the Bath House, the Market, and the Farm and Mine that produce so much of our wealth.

The assembly participants quickly grew to respect and understand their esteemed colleagues, and the meeting proceeded with great insight, and bold sharing of ideas. Perhaps the following stand out as key issues for future development:

1. The use of HUDS: Maya HUD for Combat? G&S HUD for trade?

2. Events that might be organized together, or unique events that particular lands offer as unique and valuable gifts.

Such might include, but are not limited to, Combat Games, Various Tournaments, Mer Celebrations, Slave Hunts, Animal Hunts, Chariot Races, Maya Ball and Slave Ball, Canoe Races, Slave Races, Wrestling, Slave Auctions, Gambling, Games of Skill such as Parcheesi, and so on.

Other events would have a broader scope, such as an "Olympic Festival," which might be comprised of Artistic Events such as Dance, Music Concerts, Culinary Celebrations, Storytelling, Days of the Dead, Eid-al-Fitr or other religious or cultural events such as Weddings or Coronations, special holidays which might lead to celebrations (such as OOC Halloween, Valentine, or Christmas Festivities.as well as the contests of skill and courage mentioned above) were deemed very valuable.

3. What institutions, such as Markets and Banks, should we develop to encourage cooperation and role play, as well as means of communication and transportation, such as Events Boards in each land, and TP Portals as well.

All in all, the meeting was a great triumph of peace and understanding, with active RP across sims, and shared events seen as very desirable goals.

The brilliant and talented Lexi promised to work on the Maya HUD to see if it could become the HUD of choice across the sims, and also promised to try to address the problems of lag and avi limits which our regions face.

And Minister Afraa al Abid, in a gesture of enormous generosity, volunteered to taste food, especially sweets, produced in every region!
