KING HASSAN CALLS FOR A CELEBRATION IN HONOR OF LADY CIANELLE!
KALAHARI CELEBRATES GRANTING HER A SLAVE TRADER LICENSE!
CELEBRATION TAKES PLACE AMIDST GROWING TENSIONS AND MEETINGS!
EVENT TAKES PLACE ON WEDNESDAY, 23 NOVEMBER 2016, 12:30 PM SLT
A harried looking King Hassan Ibn Trrrol announced some good news to the Kingdom. He stated that there will be an event to celebrate and honor Lady Cianelle for becoming a licensed slave trader in the Kingdom.
All citizens and visitors are welcomed to come and celebrate this event, and the King wants all to know there will be a strong security presence in this time of heightened tensions, and unsolved crimes.
As everyone in Kalahari is aware, the profession of slave trading can be quite lucrative. One need only look at the magnificent mansion built by the well known slave trader Sir Kingbe, and his wife, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Malika, for confirmation of the profits to be made in the slave trade. Their spacious home may be larger than the Trrol Palace itself, and certainly matches the King's residence for its social standing.
But, there are rumors of significant political moves, that this event might become the turning point of dramatic changes in the prosperous Kingdom of
Kalahari. With the current situation, and hot rumors that now there are two "kings" in Kalahari, (It is well known that Kingbe likes to be called "King," and his wife's name, Malika, means Queen,) the once united
citizens of Kalahari are now divided into two factions led by two powerful
figures, creating tension, anticipation, and wild rumors concerning what should be a joyous celebration.
One can only pray to Allah, to give HIS blessing and
protection as all Kalaharians fear a return to the bloodshed and tribal strife that preceded the present King's reign!

((COUP PLOT ROLE PLAY DESCRIPTION))
As many of you know, we are planning a multiplayer role play, that should extend for some weeks.
The teams are being formed (one for Kingbe, one for the King,) and each team's members will be published before Wednesday. If you wish to join a faction, please give your name to Nada Syuhada as soon as possible.
There is also room for neutrals, who may add to the overall role play. You do NOT need to fight, or be familiar with the GM Meter, and weapons, to take part. Text role play will also be a part of this ongoing event.
Speaking of weapons, the GM Meter, and some basic weapons (Bow, Sword, Battle Axe,) are available free from dispensers at the Landing. In addition, if you want some training, please see Nada Syuhada or dara Paulino, as they will be happy to help, time permitting. You also may use your own weapons, subject to common sense rules.

The key rules to follow, however, display basic fairness. There is to be no flying, no killing, no ridiculous tricks to subvert the spirit of the role play. The King has graciously given us freedom: there is no preordained conclusion to this role play: the success in planning, and in fighting battles will determine the basi story line.
The roles are limited only by your creativity. In addition to the King, and nobles, free citizens and slaves can choose, or invent, exciting role play: spies, traitors, cold blooded business leaders who wait to see which side is winning so they can profit, and so on.
The first drama in this role play will take place at the celebration of Lady Cianelle. We are looking for some minor characters (slaves, poor citizens etc.) to get into a disagreement, which becomes a fight. Though not a major fight, it will escalate, how the disturbance is handled will cause even more hard feelings, and the tension grows.
